The P. S. Dispatch is a physical mail subscription club where every month, you get to open up a zine that makes you smile and get creative.
Each 8-page issue contains:
The ordinary
little delightful or humorous moments in daily life
The eccentric
a story about the strange and sometimes mysterious
The creative
The No. 1 Wamao Clinic for Peculiar Creatures - a cozy fantasy journaling game where you are a doctor in a mountain village who has to come up with cures for supernatural creatures
all written and illustrated by me, addressed personally to you!
Sign up before the 15th of the current month, and you'll receive that month's mail (ie. if you sign up before January 15th, I'll send out your mail by the 22nd January).
If you sign up on the 15th or after, you'll get the next month's mail (ie. if you sign up on or after the 15th of January, I'll send out your mail in February).
NOTE: First issue goes out 3rd week of August, 2026!
I'm sending mail out from Oakland, California and it might take up to 3-4 weeks to reach US addresses and up to 6-8 weeks to reach international addresses.
Membership to the mail club is US$10 a month regardless of location.

What's a journaling game?
It's a creative activity that can combine writing with drawing, collage, or any other type of art to create a narrative. The goal is produce a visual record of your response to a prompt.
The No. 1 Wamao Clinic for Peculiar Creatures game
This is a cozy fantasy game where you take on the role of a wamao from a village in the mountains of Kunming.
Wamao are little cat statues that have perched on top of roofs in Yunnan for over a thousand years, roaring away evil spirits and swallowing down misfortune with their wide mouths.
For generations, your family has healed strange and magical creatures, with patients coming from even beyond Yunnan to seek help.
Unlike your ancestors, though, you've been living an exciting life in the city. However, your father has recently called you back to help at the clinic, and you now have to use your talents to treat maladies and afflictions.
Each month, you'll get a new patient with a unique set of symptoms, and using your father's notes and an ingredients list, you'll have to come up with a potion or medicine to help your patient.
Play for as short as 30 minutes or as long as you like, creating the world of The No. 1 Wamao Clinic and the creatures that surround you.
I send mail out around the 3rd week of the month, so for example, if you subscribe before January 15th, I'll send your first letter out by the 22nd of January.
If you live in the US, that means you should get your mail around the first week of February at the latest. If you live outside of the US, that means your mail should arrive around the end of February.
At the checkout, please select "Ship to a different address" to have mail directly sent to your giftee. Please make sure that the account and billing address is yours so you can make changes any time.
If you want to get a subscription for yourself and for someone else who has a different address, you have to purchase each subscription as a separate transaction. I know, it's weird, sorry!
To change your mailing address, please log into your account here. I strongly suggest that you do not email me directly to change the address unless there's something unusual about your request.

You can cancel your membership any time by logging into your account to cancel. This is the fastest way to cancel your membership. Otherwise, sending me a DM or email might cause delays in cancellation!
Also, very important: if you cancel after the 15th of the month, you will still be charged for (and receive) that month's mail. For example, if you cancel on January 16th, I will still send you mail on January 22nd.

Due to the nature of our mailed products, The PS Dispatch does not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind. However, we stand behind our service. If your monthly mailing is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery window, and we will provide a replacement or a prorated refund at our discretion.
If you've cancelled your subscription before the 20th of the month, you won't be charged or receive any mail for that month. Cancellations on or after the 20th of the month apply to future billing cycles only and we will not refund charges for any month in which a mailing has already been sent.
Hey! My name is Maloy, and I moved to Oakland in 2022 after getting married embarrassingly soon after meeting my husband. (I kind of had to because a palm reader in Florida predicted our meeting and very strongly suggested that I lock him down.)
Before I moved here, I lived in a series of haunted houses in Manila, Taipei, Nantou, Toronto, Hong Kong, and Florence, so if I really like a place, it's probably haunted. Send me photos if you're not sure about moving somewhere and need my advice!
I apprenticed as a goldsmith in Italy, and have gone on tours with musicians while working in the music business, but mostly, I've been lucky enough to make a living from telling stories.
