This is my small creative business featuring a journaling mail club and standalone artefact games. I write and illustrate every game in my shop. Please take a look around!
What's a journaling game?
It's a type of journaling that weaves creative writing with drawing, collage, or any other type of art to create a narrative in response to a prompt or inspiration. If you join my journaling mail club, I'll personally mail you an issue every month!
What's an artefact game?
A unique variation on a journaling game, an artefact game results in a piece of creative work (a physical artefact) that is unique to the choices and materials you use. An artefact can be a book, a series of paintings, music, dioramas or whatever can help you express your imagination.

The No. 1 Wamao Clinic for Peculiar Creatures
a cozy fantasy journaling game where you are a doctor in a mountain village who has to come up with whimsical cures for magical creatures. Each month, you get a new patient, new stories, and new ingredients.
Wamao are little cat statues that have perched on top of roofs in Yunnan for over a thousand years, roaring away evil spirits and swallowing down misfortune with their wide mouths.
For generations, your family has healed strange and magical creatures, with patients coming from even beyond Yunnan to seek help.
Unlike your ancestors, though, you've been living an exciting life in the city. However, your father has recently called you back to help at the clinic, and you now have to use your talents to treat maladies and afflictions.
Each month, you'll get a new patient with a unique set of symptoms, and using your father's notes and an ingredients list, you'll have to come up with a potion or medicine to help your patient.
Play for as short as 30 minutes or as long as you like, creating the world of The No. 1 Wamao Clinic and the creatures that surround you.
You can buy individual issues of The No. 1 Wamao Clinic for Peculiar Creatures for US$10 each or get a monthly subscription (issues are US$8 each with a subscription for both US and international).
To subscribe: sign up before the 11th of the current month, and I'll mail your issue on the 15th of the month (ie. if you sign up before January 11th, I'll send out your mail on January 15th).
If you sign up on the 11th or after, you'll get the next month's mail (ie. if you sign up on or after the 11th of January, I'll send out your mail on February 15th).
NOTE: the first issue is going out in November 2026! If you subscribe before November 11th 2026, you will not be charged again until December 2026.
I'm sending mail out from Oakland, California right now and it might take up to 3-4 weeks to reach US addresses and up to 6-8 weeks to reach international addresses.
The Lightkeepers of Mourner's Rock
For as long as the Mourner’s Rock lighthouse hasstood, there have been three keepers on duty. In 1898, they were Principal Lightkeeper Thomas Saxby and Assistant Lightkeepers Christopher Withers and Nathaniel Cherrett.
Before the end of that year, they would all be gone.
Based on a true story, The Lightkeepers of Mourner’s Rock is a horror and mystery journalling and artefact game for lovers of Lovecraft and Victorian ghost stories.
Designed to help you create a one-of-a-kind work or artefact, this game encourages you to write, draw, collage, compose, or choose whatever creative pursuit you want to try.
There's multiple ways to play: build a world, solve the mystery of the missing lightkeepers, or create an even bigger mystery for someone else to solve.
I personally mail you the physical edition, which also comes with a hand-stamped postcard that you will be using as part of your artefact.
For parents: while there isn't any gore or overtly frightening elements, there are some creepy and potentially disturbing scenes. As a parent myself, I wouldn't allow any kids younger than 14 to play this game.

I send mail out around the 15th of the month, so for example, if you subscribe before January 11th, I'll send your journaling game out by January 15th.
If you live in the US, that means you should get your mail around the first week of the month at the latest. Most of the time, it will arrive by end of the month. If you live outside of the US, that means your mail should arrive around the middle to end of the month.
At the checkout, please select "Ship to a different address" to have mail directly sent to your giftee. Please make sure that the account and billing address is yours so you can make changes any time.
If you want to get a subscription for yourself and for someone else who has a different address, you have to purchase each subscription as a separate transaction. I know, it's weird, sorry!

You can cancel your membership any time by logging into your account to cancel. This is the fastest way to cancel your membership. Otherwise, sending me a DM or email might cause delays in cancellation!
Also, very important: if you cancel after the 15th of the month, you will still be charged for (and receive) that month's mail. For example, if you cancel on January 15th or after, I will still send you mail on January 20th.

Due to the nature of our mailed products, The PS Dispatch does not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind. However, we stand behind our service. If your monthly mailing is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery window, and we will provide a replacement or a prorated refund at our discretion.
If you've cancelled your subscription before the 28th of the month, you won't be charged or receive any mail for that month. Cancellations on or after the 15th of the month apply to future billing cycles only and we will not refund charges for any month in which a mailing has already been sent.
Hey! My name is Maloy, and I moved to Oakland in 2022 after getting married embarrassingly soon after meeting my husband. (I kind of had to because a palm reader in Florida predicted our meeting and very strongly suggested that I lock him down.) Now I split my time between Oakland, Hong Kong, and the village house in Yunnan that inspired my journaling game, The No. 1 Wamao Clinic for Peculiar Creatures.
Before I moved here, I lived in a series of haunted houses in Manila, Taipei, Nantou, Toronto, Hong Kong, and Florence, so if I really like a place, it's probably haunted. Send me photos if you're not sure about moving somewhere and need my advice!
I apprenticed as a goldsmith in Italy, and have gone on tours with musicians while working in the music business, but mostly, I've been lucky enough to make a living from telling stories.
